Every year 1.6 million people die as a result of indoor air pollution, much of it from kerosene lamps. But for the 1.6 billion people without electricity there has been little choice. D.Light has provided an alternative thanks to a cheap, reliable solar lamp. Over 220,000 units have already been sold in over thirty countries via a network of rural entrepreneurs. Amazing video and story. We take a lot for granted here in Europe as well as many other parts of the world and you see how green energy, a solution that can be such a positive impact to save lives. My advice to the world viewers, turn off the BBC, CNN and Fox and other negativef news/media, tune into these positive stories like things, and do something positive to support these campaign abroad and in your towns/cities. I am going to try to promote your green videos. Thanks! Very moving!
